CURIOUS? GOOD.
A few things
you might ask.
Getting to know your new companion.
What exactly is MakerMech?+
MakerMech is a phone-mounted desk companion. Your phone provides the screen, while a motorised mount adds three-axis movement to give it an expressive, animated presence.
How does the three-axis movement work?+
The mount can turn left and right (yaw), nod up and down (pitch), and tilt from side to side (roll). Together, those movements create friendly, characterful gestures.
Is a phone included?+
The concept is built around attaching your own smartphone. A phone is shown in the illustrations to demonstrate the companion experience.
Will it work with my phone?+
Supported phone models, mounting requirements, and app compatibility are still to be confirmed for MakerMech. Check the product details for updates before purchasing.
Can I try the companion on this site?+
Yes! Move your cursor inside the hero animation and it will follow you. Move away and it returns to its own little routine. On touchscreens, tap or drag within the scene. You can also choose an expression in the personality playground.
When can I buy one?+
MakerMech pricing, ordering, and shipping information will be added here when confirmed. This site currently introduces the product and lets you explore its personality.
